with engaged couples is a key component to the "50 year plan."
Most couples face their most serious challenges
during the first three to five years of marriage. Through active marriage preparation, many of these problems can be
avoided, or at least minimized, so they don't become toxic to an early marriage.
The goal of marriage coaching
is to get couples to surface, probe and discuss key issues BEFORE they get married. The Start Smart program
offers a step-by-step outline guiding you through the process. It is found that eighty percent of those couples
attending this course will marry, while the other twenty percent will walk away or postpone the wedding. This statistic
proves how beneficial the coaching curriculum is to couples before they say "I do", rather than getting married,
only to see it end in divorce because they did not take advantage of having a marriage coach.
